Seems Bute must have been his mentor.

this is some of the crazier news out there in the world of Boxing.

Bute is done mentally. he's shown that twice now. if he's to continue with his career and try and salvage something, then he needs to build his confidence up with a few fights against so so opponents before going for another big fight.

by going in there with a big puncher while you're coming off a loss, a really bad performance and serious confidence/mental issues, you're setting yourself up for a big fall.

Bute doesn't stand a chance. if he's doing this due to money problems, then the pay cheque will come in handy. i can't see any other reason for him to go straight in against Adonis, as he'll be smoked up very quickly.

it took a few rounds of leather from Froch to beat and stop Bute. whereas it took one shot by Boone to get rid of Stevenson.

This would be a real Cinderella Man story if Bute can pull it off.

Crazily enough, I could see it happening although Stevenson TKO is the safe bet.

Ward fought with a more open style when against Boone. against Froch though, he had his dirty style down to perfection. it was a completely different Ward.

i too want to see that first Kovalev/Boone fight. i don't know why it's not up there on YT.

Hans here always cites that fighters are only as good as their worst performance. And that no fighter changes for better or worse as time goes on.

Wow! The big question is : Is Bute's confidence back? Will he fight scared again? He is facing a big puncher, a puncher who doesn't bring much except for is big left. Bute's chin is somewhat weak. Odd match up, but for sure interesting! Bute still has a lot of talent, but he has no confidence and a weak chin.

It is logical if he is planning to retire soon and at a relatively young age.

    Bute got KOd by Froch.

Stevenson was KOd by a guy on a lower level than Brinkley FFS, and nearly KOd by a guy on Grachevs level in Fonfara.

Froch would handle Fonfara and Boone on the same night FFS.:rofl

I hope you are not saying that Boone is better than Bute.
