Stevenson - Bute on December 6th

Why is anyone saying anything other than how ridiculously unfair to Pascal this is?

 

IMO Pascal likely beats Stevenson. He has a grade A chin.

Bute sells well and is the less risky fight, although he still has a good chance of upsetting the odds.

 

...but he lost to Pascal.

Stevenson is ducking Pascal

 

Can't see this fight happening. Bute is so shell shocked at this point - no confidence - Stevenson will knock him out of the ring. This will be a slaughter.

 

It would be wonderful if Bute KOed the scumbag pimp enforcer Stevenson.

I think Stevenson will likely win. But maybe the time off has been good for Bute, who knows.

 

No. Quite a few guys Roach has recently trained have looked better than recent form suggested. Just because you don't personally like Roach doesn't mean he can't get the best out of certain fighters.

By taking Roach on board, at this stage, (and Roach has mentioned how impressed he is by Bute) it gives me the impression Bute want's turn his career around than cash out, thus if he does take this fight, he and Roach probably think they can win it.

And who's to say Bute hasn't gained confidence from how he finished against Pascal and Stevenson lost his from how he finished with Fonfara?

 

Bute has class but I just don't think he no longer has the mental focus required..:tired....I hope I am wrong but he lacks that self confidence that only he can give himself.
