I can't wait for the excuses the armchair businessmen who claim Kovalev brings no money and isn't a huge draw will make.

Kovalev did more views fighting Cedric Agnew, FFS.

    Terrible number.

Nielsen only measures usa numbers so it's irrelevant the worldwide households. 49% down is awful.

It will be lead right hand city, all night long.

Stevenson is highly susceptible to the straight right hand, and that just happens to be Hopkins most favorite punch which he throws with an above 50% connect rate. Also, as we saw with Shumenov, Hopkins still carries some pop in that straight right.:yep

After Stevenson gasses after round 6, it will be all Bernard Hopkins Oh'ing and Ah'ing the crowd with right hand and hook connects.
I really think it will look even worst for Stevenson than Hopkins-Pavlik.

A lot of people only subscribe to HBO and probably didn't even know that he was fighting. I think those were good numbers and will only get better because it was a good fight. Fonfara was no bum and would done just as good against Kovelev if not better. I know one thing for dam sure, just because a fighter is not known doesn't mean that he can't fight or that he's a bum. At one time , all fighters were unknown.

Keith Thurman did over 800k in viewers.

The fight is a flop. That simple.
