I don't have showtime, should I order it or this fight? Fonwhateverdephuck doesn't strike me as a challenge worth paying for.

If you're in Canada it's on PPV, not on regular SuperChannel (Showtime).

Man, I hope that Fonfara can beat Stevenson. Unfortunately I think he is going to et bombed out of there convincingly. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

But if you don't see the difference between Fonfara and Kovalev, I don't really know what to tell you.

Kovalev does seem pretty scary lol but his best win is arguably Campillo. No one is giving Fonfara any credit but he also KOd Campillo. Thats all I'm saying.

Because it's Boxed Ears. It is equally as dangerous to agree with him as it is to disagree.

Kovalev didn't just KO Campillo, he destroyed him.

He also destroyed Cleverly, and destroyed Sillakh. 2 guys who I'd probably pick to beat Fonfara by decision. To me there is a huge gulf in class between Kovalev and Fonfara, and Stevenson and Fonfara. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Idk man Campillo was considering pretty darn good after he schooled Shumenov and Cloud. I gave Kovalev credit for that destruction and I think Fonfara deserves props for dealing with a good boxer in Campillo. I'm just saying that Fonfara is basically being called a bum but the Campillo win is legit and he deserves respect for it.

Whatever with the mandatory. A convenient crutch. Bottom line is the guy is fighting his 2nd soft touch opponent in a row. Meanwhile there are bigger, better fights out there just waiting for him to agree to. You know the timeline. You've seen this unfold just as I have. He's milking this. He 's pushed off the Kovalev fight several times already, despite the boxing world's deafening clamor for it. Now it's "possible" for 2015. Just a few months back it was "definite" for summer 2014. I guess we'll have to stay tuned and see what unfolds. But let's cease with the rationalizations and excuses.

Again... who are those 'bigger, better fights' he could have gotten instead of Cloud back then?

If you diss the Bellew defense because you want to ignore the fact he had to do a mandatory, I don't know what to say. I guess Adama, IBO mandatory, and Fletcher, WBA mandatory, will end up being soft touches on Golovkin's 2014 track record.

I don't know who is calling Fonfara a bum. He isn't. I think he's pretty good, but doesn't math up well at all with Stevenson. But he's also not exactly the top of the food chain either. And when there is a fight out there just beyond the horizon of the magnitude of Kovalev-Stevenson, this smacks of a guy looking to grab as much cash from gullible fans while saving face and saying he wants the big fight, while at the same time doing everything but actually trying to make it happen.
