    This is prize fighting:patsch

    the prize in prize fighting is not a surprise gift you get at the end of a fight, its money you feed your family with. If Stevenson can make as much or more money fighting other fighters it makes sense to wait it out to make a unification bout that makes some serious coin.

    Adonis has signed with Al Haymon, and that means he will probably never fight Kovalev.

    That's why Kovalev is calling him a coward. Stevenson should say, "Yes, I will fight you later this year". Instead, he just calls him names.

    But what if Stevenson talks about the fact that Kovalev killed a man? I wouldn't put it past him to bring something like that up.

    Exactly. Kovalev needs to make quick work of Stevenson's leftovers, in front of Stevenson's fans, for the fight to gain momentum there i.e. to expect a Bell Centre filled at full capacity.
