No he's running from Kovalev, he knows exactly what he's doing. Run from Kovalev, milk title defenses against hand picked opponents for as long as possible. Rinse, repeat. He's clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer, he will end up a broke and miserable before he's 50. Maybe he can go back to pimping, and abusing women like before he started boxing?

I thought the point was to "force" Stevenson to stop running from Kovalev by making Kovalev the mandatory. Yet it was Kovalev and Duva who ran from the route they thought would cause the fight to take place, thereby making them look like hypocrites.

Duva tried to sue Haymon and Stevenson, yet a lack of "good faith negotiations" is supposed to be shocking and a valid reason for running away from the fight? :blood Besides, Duva made the fight taking place on HBO a non-negotiable condition, so I fail to see what good the facade of negotiations would have done anyway.

Stevenson was supposed to fight Kovalev on HBO, but ran to Showtime..................Stevenson is afraid of Kovalev...............Kovalev would knock Stevenson out and Stevenson and Haymon know it.................

Maybe he is waiting for Ward to man up and fight him at 168.
