They are not, unfortunately... But Stevenson vs. Jack is almost guaranteed to happen (because those fighters had agreed to fight each other even before the wbc intervention). Gvozdyk vs Alvarez is far from certain, though. In my opinion, Alvarez will just walk away from this fight. WBC would then move Gvozdyk up to mandatory contender spot...
Gvozdyk will put on a clinic against Alvarez. I really, really hope we get to see The Nail execute Stevenson in 2018.
Yes, Stevenson-Jack is close to done. Gvozdyk-Alvarez is far from certain, Alvarez will probably lose if the fight goes ahead but Michel doesn't want Gvozdyk to become WBC mandatory either. I'll be rooting for Jack and Gvozdyk, I'm sick of Michel's scheme with Alvarez blocking anyone else from becoming mandatory to Stevenson by taking step-aside money all the time.
