Stevenson-Kovalev: a bid within 30 days?

The Stevenson team will probably win the bid but he isn't the most durable, and not many people go 12 with Kovalev who is used to fighting in Canada. Either way not many people will expect this to go 12.

I got into it with Yves over the weekend. That meathead will make sure Canadians get screwed hard on watching it if it's for free on HBO, and be damn sure Canadians on the west coast cant purchase it if it's on PPV. GYM is brutal, I really hope they dont win

 

I hope this won't be on a haymon card it would take something away from it. Fight of the year I think if it gets done either way though

 

I hope this is not a version of 2010 Floyd-Pac negotiations where we can only see this fight in 2020 after they meet up some NHL game.

 

No way does Main Events outbid GYM for this fight and according to the OP the winner(GYM) also picks the network(SHOWTIME) that airs the fight. Stevenson will also no doubt get the lion's shard of the purse just like pascal did. They probably will also institute the same PED testing protocols they did for the Pascal fight, NONE.

Kovalev getting screwed over once again. Just like with Cleverly, Hopkins and Pascal.

I dont think Kovalev cares. He is a genuinely BAD dude who chucks with BAD ****ING INTENTIONS and I seriously think he just wants to kick the **** out of Pimpto Bismol....Belts or no belts, you can see it in his eyes.

 

Agreed but I guarantee he does care about taking short money like he did against Cleverly, Hopkins, Pascal and soon to be Stevenson. Kovalev just did an interview when he heard about what Beterbiev was earning compared to the peanuts Kovalev got to start his career and how he did not even have a promoter until his 19th fight.

This gnaws at him as it would anyone. Nobody likes to be devalued financially.

 

Hopefully kovalev scores his second ring fatality in this fight

the cards so far have been wile kind of censored or something, the second card was better but I wouldnt want a massive fight like this in that set up. Its wile controlled or something I dont think the atmosphere would be as good as it would with the normal set ups. The post match interviews being cut short , couldnt handle that
