Time to fight someone with a pulse mister Superman! :rofl

Kovalev is now rated no.1 and Stevenson is rated no.2!

Hernandez has finally been stripped as well. About time.

This is another example that being lineal and Ring champ are 2 seperate things, despite what some think.
And that being lineal champion gets less and less important when time moves on.
They also completely dropped Cotto from the Middleweight rankings it seems

Go to their rankings, it's 1 of the criteria, I'm assuming that's the one he hasn't met and got stripped for.

Exactly and this belt is just The Ring's version of lineal, TBR has its own rankings, so does BoxRec.

Which lineal is the most lineal? :rofl :nut

There 's only 1 lineal and it's passed down via the events in the ring or when a new lineage is established.

That said, Robney is correct, it is becoming less and less relevant as times go by and titles are added to the wafting pile.

Yep, they mention it in the article. Thanks boys.

All I can say is this is one of those times where the Ring got it right.

YPH dropped due to inactivity, Rigo on the verge of being stripped if he doesn't line up a top 5 soon.

Good to know but they better not make Kovalev-Pascal II for the belt.
According to the rules they can do it.

I imagine it would be as Kovalev is now the ring champ. Should he lose, it's Pascal's.

So Kovalev is the lineal champ now? You see this is why I don't buy RING is an unquestionable authority on these things.

The ring belt is vacant. That's all it says.
