Stevenson not fighting until July

    Apparently the winner of E-Rod-Williams will now be his next opponent.

    Not the worst opponent in the world(I'm guessing Rodriguez), but still, hes making himself irrelevant by being so inactive against middling opposition.

    williams jr is terrible no matter how much you love him and rodriguez isnt much better. this is a joke but typical wbc keep the belts in north america

    E-Rod's pretty good, honestly I would like to see that but isn't he a 168 fighter? I mean it'd be what, two 168 fighters in a row now?

    I'd take a year off too if I fought Karpency, guy is a beast.

    If I'm being honest I can't wait, out of the fighters that many consider no hopers against the elite I've thought E-Rod was the guy more capable of shattering Adoins' glass jaw into a million pieces than almost anybody, he doesn't give a **** anymore, if he comes in like a kamikaze with that terrifying overhand right of his, he could easily bomb Stevenson out of the ring in 1 round. Yes Seals put him down twice hard, but that had everything to do with the angle and torque with which Seals hit him with it, he's an ultra orthodox Floyd wannabe, so the fact that he got full extension on those shots that E-Rod literally jumped right into it twice, and he punched right through he target with shots that would have KO'd anybody, maybe even break some guys necks, and even then Edwin was able to take it and come back and bomb him out is evidence of what a good chin Edwin really has. Stevenson's southpaw stance will leave him open to Edwin's bombs, we might have a new lineal Light Heavyweight Champion come July.:hey

    :huh Why would he be stripped? His previous mandatory Kovalev was not interested in abiding by the WBC's terms for the fight to be made, while Stevenson was.

    I don't care for Stevenson at all and think Kovalev would wreck him. Fact remains after all their tough talk about wanting the fight he and his promoter chose a network over the fight, just like Stevenson did one year earlier.
