That almost sounds too liberal for my tastes, but I like to see people turn their lives around too; so, I'm going to agree.

    Who doesn't like a comeback?

The shizz he did is too much for me to get over to become a fan, but if he's turned his life around, good for him and his family. Consider me Stevenson neutral.

I don't give a crap about fighters outside the ring. I like watching Stevenson fight. Quick, heavy handed south-paw... should ruin a few more people's careers before he gets too old.

Sorry I just think dawson was vulnerable and there for the taking am pretty sure the likes hopkins ward froch kovalev would not be ko'd by that punch and cloud looked flat footed and like he didn't even want to be there.

He didn't make him look flat footed and bad imo cloud did that to himself and cloud really has never been all that has he really ? he's like a young version of the old version of glencoth johnson.

It's still too early we can talk after he beats a kovalev a pascal a froch a hopkins a ward.

To put it in perspective cloud struggled to even get Yusaf Mack out of there in 2011 took him 8 rounds.

There was a lot talk regarding Stevenson after the Dawson fight.

Cloud is not the type of opponent to bring excitement. Some can argue that he's lost his last 3 fights...or lost 2 fights before fighting Stevenson.

Everyone knew he was durable and had some power, but he is and will always be considered one of the most one-dimensional fighters in boxing with no tangibles. What you see is what you get with Cloud and we got to see a one-dimensional fighter displaying 0 ability to fight a southpaw.

dawson was washed up. cloud is not a top fighter, he lost to campillo.

yes, two wins against "top" fighters, one of which was on the way out, the other a never been.

So then Campillo and Hopkins don't deserve any credit either if Cloud is THAT awful in your eyes.

As for Dawson, he was about, eh, 8 whole rounds better than Bernard Hopkins was and entered as the lineal champion for their fight. Yeah, discredit that all you want.

hopkins is 48 and was never a puncher. Dawson was brutalized against Ward and the majority of people in the industry knew he was done. Campillo is a fine fighter who was the defacto LW champ -beat Shumenov twice. BUT, not even close to being a puncher. Cloud was well managed but never in with a true puncher. I said Adonis would drill him but instead beat him down.

Your argument of A beats B, etc. is old and worn out. Styles make fights and Cloud wasn't good enough to come close to Hopkins and LOST to Campillo. My statements make no disservice to either Hopkins or Campillo, but your statements are obtuse.:yikes
