    KOV has 3 belts and beat the last guy rated #1 at 175 hopkins
    stevenson has 1 belt and has looked average in his last 2 defenses

    Stevenson is living on borrowed time. He's at the top of his tree with no where else to run and he knows it. Beterbiev, Kovalev, Hopkins, even Gvozdyk or Braehmer would end his phoniness.

    I'd tell Adonis to go take a hike if I was Kovalev, if he gets past Pascal of course. Or try and make him come over to Russia if he wants those belts so bad.

    Doubt even Kovalev wants to fight in Russia.

    Hes American based with a good fan base there and he fights on HBO.

    Obviously he'll fight Stevenson if that fight can be made. Im sure he wants to unify the belts

    He'll fight anywhere but I'm sure he'd rather do it in Russia than in Stevenson's backyard if he had the option to do so.

    Obviously he wants to unify, but as I stated, if I were him I'd tell him to go take a hike. That's what I would do in his situation.
