Which made it all the more comical and amusing when in response to Max's enthusiastic question regarding Kovalev, Stevenson basically said screw that! Give me Hopkins, Froch, or maybe the Bute-Pascal winner!

That definitely could be the cause of some inconvenient roadblocks he may soon face. That could wind up being something that potentially sucks for fans.

Adonis don't want no part of Kovalev. His post fight responses said it all.

He could have asked the question but he didn't need to frame it like that or press it like that. If he want to press the man then he could have a special and get out all that **** out. Don't no fighter wanna be talked to in that manner after a hard fight. Rios almost went off on his ass. I could care less about what HBO is paying them. I like to see respect and class at play in those interviews and I know I'm not the only one. There is more than one way to get what you need and that way is too confrontational. As a matter of fact HBO's whole commentator lineup is full of hype and bull****. If a fighter doesn't say what they want them to say then they act like they have a problem with that. Roy Jones is the only one with some sense.

You know when a fighter starts talking about the "money needs to be right" to fight fighter x, he's not really serious. Last time i heard that was Dirrell when he had to fight Ward.

Great point Kovalev is a stormfront hypejob. Most boxing fans has no idea who he is because he has beat no one.

  8. There was a slight quiver on Adonis' face when Kellerman mentioned Kovalev in the post fight interview. To me it could not be more transparent. Adonis has
already lost this fight even before he set foot in the ring. He lacks the self confidence to compete with Kovalev, and is looking to cash out on a few more pay days by fighting the Froch's and the BHOP's of the world, build an immense demand for the fight with Sergey so as to generate a profitable return on his in ring
demise, and then eventually meet Kovalev in the squared circle to get KTFO!

This is my take on it.

Tell Ward and Stevenson to fight Kovalev and we will find out..............Stevenson wants to fight Froch and Hopkins.................Hell, he can't even find Ward because Ward has been hiding................quick, get some help for Ward, he has a very bad case of diarrhea! Ward's referee, judges, boxing commission, home town, commentators might not be able to keep those opponents from knocking him out..............

And you're right. Body language and facial expressions can tell you a lot about a person. I don't expect a lot of people to understand this because reading body language takes a lot of practice.

If a person has an insecurity, they usually try to over-compensate. "Happy New Year" was so out of place in that interview and he said it generate support after the arena has gone silent when he started talking about Hopkins & Froch. He stuttered a bit more than usual when he was talking about Kovalev.

His entire interview can be picked apart so easily. He clearly showed a disinterest in fighting Kovalev.

Kovalev was Hopkins' mandatory, but Hopkins refused to fight him, so Kovalev went to Clevery's home town and knocked him out. Hopkins said he will never fight Kovalev or Stevenson, very convenient for Hopkins...........

Kovalev just knocked out his mandatory, so he's free to fight a fighter of his choice for his next fight.............

Adonis is a fanny! Scared to fight Kovelov, the fight everyone wants to see.

Calling out Froch is embarrassing after his poor performance against Groves last week. Plus Froch has said multiple times he fights at 168lb and isn't interested in moving up. Stevenson already had a mandatory shot at Froch but saw what he did to Bute, bottled it and moved up, but now he want a piece of him?! Shameful.

Plus calling out 90 year old Hopkins?! Would love it if he old manned the young pimp!!

    Fight Kovelov. Don't be scared.

Ain't Kovalevs fault that the racist f#kkwits have jumped on his bandwagon, he probably doesn't even know what stormfront is.

It's beyond obvious that AS is ducking Kovalev.
To the few apologists for AS, let me ask you this.

The excuse is he's 36 and is calling out an old man and a SMW, so he can make some money. What if he struggles or even loses to Froch? Then the value of a Kovalev-AS fight decreases.

He wants a big money fight? Then take on Kovalev. If he loses to Kovalev - and he most likely gets KTFO - he'll still be able to make more $ in other bouts :think
