In case you didn't already know. That would actually be a rematch too. Stevenson beat Rodriguez twice in a USA vs Canada duel in 2006. He dropped him in both fights too. 2005-05-06 - 75kg - Adonis Stevenson (CAN) Edwin Rodriguez (USA) 36:18 2005-05-08 - 75kg - Adonis Stevenson (CAN) Edwin Rodriguez (USA) 24:16 [YT]t8PlfI3sew8[/YT]
its a cherry pick how dare you defend stevenson ever since he won that title he has been feasting on bums he is a ****ing ***** he ran to showtime to duck sergey ****ing disgusting *****
As far as I'm concerned the only opponent he needs to fight right now is Kovalev. Kovalev is signed to fight Pascal so Stevenson can stay busy. Fonfara made it competitive so take that cherry picking business out of here. Come back when you can admit Rios and Algieri are cherry picks. Until then, :| like you always do.
that's bull**** every fighter Adonis fought since he got his title were in the top 10 and 3 of them were in the top 5 can you remember me the ranking of the guys kovalev fought?? none of them were in the top 10 GTFO...kovalev is the **** because he beat a fifty year old? pffff
I'm sure you're joking but this is the problem with a lot of fans. They always want to bring a boxer's personal issues into it. You don't judge someone's professional career using their personal issues. Not you, just saying some people.
Being fair though La Bomba had just turned 20 at the time they fought. I wouldn't particularly expect Edwin to win now, but he certainly has the power to give Stevenson problems and looked pretty durable in his most testing fight (vs Ward).
