still working out a date with showtime and venue availability. at first I thought this would be easy for Stevenson but he has avoid Alvarez more than he gets credit for, probably due to the fact Alvarez doesn't have a big fan base. they also have the same promoter so it was always an easy fight to make. First glance it looks like an easy stevenson win, but with how much he ducked alvarez maybe there is more to this fight.
also a thing of interest is Yvon Michel (stevenson promoter) and Mauricio Sulaiman (presdient of wbc) are close friends. which is probably why stevenson hasnt been forced to fight a number 1 since tony bellew.
Stevenson is getting as bad as Wilder in his choice of opponents. He needs to **** or get off the throne.
So what the hell happened to Jack if Alvarez is fighting Stevenson? I thought that fight was happening. Did Jack give up the belt for no reason?
