seems like after bika's refusal, andre dirrell now has until the 3 of july to answer the ibf if he is willingto take the fight http://www.rds.ca/boxe/chroniques/342901.html
First of all it is probably more likely the managers and promoters who are reluctant to put their guy with Stevenson rather than the fighters themselves. Guaranteed if Adonis was a belt holder who came with a big payday, the SMW elite would be lining up to fight him. The problem for him is he is high risk with low reward. Truth be told he is an average fighter who happens to punch like a tank. He is outclassed by most of the top 10 at 168 but could be dangerous for any of them if he comes out swinging and lands a lucky punch. It is disrespectfull to call them gutless. Boxing is a business. Stevenson will have to increase his stock a bit if he wants to get the top dogs interested.
apparently he isnt fighting anyone PERIOD. today marks 1/2 a year since he put in 2 rounds against cunningham. he has been a pro for 7 1/2 years and has 21 fights. dude obviously hates the part about being a pro boxer and actually having to fight once in a while
Surprised Bika's team didn't jump at this...must have been a real low ball money offer(?)...Was looking forward to it...
Gym apparently offered Bika twice as much as GBP offered Stevenson... Call it anything you want, it maybe diserve to be called a duck.
dirrell will fake yet another brain injury once stevenson lands:yep wonder if he dont care about the fans still as long as he is paid like a mother ****er
