Stevenson vs. Kovalev.

I don't think Kovalev shares your ******ed thinking process, of thinking he can play with a fighter as dangerous as Stevens with a Jab or he could find himself counting light like Dawson.

 

honestly...the way i see it...under 5 rnds, stevenson...over 5 rnds...kovalev


explanation is simple, kovalev is a volume puncher, stevenson is an early explosive fighter...if kovalev is smart he will try and let stevenson waste a bit of gas, weakening his power and resistance, then use his volume punching to end him in the mid rounds...

however, if kovalev goes toe to toe in a slugfest from the get go....i predict a flashing ko by stevenson...reason being it he hits like briks, and ive never seen kovalev hit hard, let alone flush by and ironed fisted fighter...

I would pick Kovalev, still this is the best fight for Kovalev at 175. Hopkins will not fight him. Kovalev just signed new contract with HBO so no chance of hopkins fight. Who else, Dawson or Cloud, both would be heavy underdogs. At least stevenson has a puncher's chance.
