    En raison de cette décision du WBC, GYM pourrait se tourner vers l’IBF. Yvon Michel a eu des discussions avec le clan de Thomas Oosthuizen. Ce dernier affrontera vendredi soir Marcus Johnson à Miami.
    Si Oosthuizen l’emporte, GYM entend faire accélérer le processus auprès de l’IBF pour que le gagnant du combat Stevenson / Oosthuizen devienne aspirant obligatoire au champion Lucian Bute.


    Stevenson vs Oosthuizen?

    Because of the WBC's decision, GYM could turn to the IBF. Yvon Michel has had talks with Team Oosthuizen, who will face Marcus Johnson in Miami on Friday night.

    If Oosthuizen wins, GYM intends on speeding up the process with the IBF in order to have the winner of Stevenson-Oosthuizen become Lucian Bute's next mandatory opponent.

    Interesting matchup, and oddly enough a common opponent... Pryor Jr! Stevenson obviously with the upper hand there, but I'm curious to see if Tommy Gun will decide to strictly jab away and control range, or.. get involved in a brawl with Superman. ROTY material. :D

    Another article popped up on this today, i.e. these two to meet on Showtime... DiBella gave Showtime & Yvon Michel the go-ahead to find a date and start negotations.

    Stevenson late TKO, Tommy's defense is below average. Superman hits much harder than Marcus Johnson, and Tommy was bruised up pretty good by the end of tonight's fight.

    Marcus Johnson is not top20 contender and hit Oosthuizen with power punches quite often, Stevenson is much better and his hands are a lot heavier. Stevenson takes this one by KO. I would like Oosthuizen to win tho, instead of that atrocious pimp.

    Stevenson has a puncher's chance, but that's about it. Would love to see it, hope it happens.

    Call me crazy, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tommy "Oesthaizen" stops that pimp early... Stevenson has a punch but not much of a chin, and Tommy can dish it out.

    Now this is a damn good match-up!

    I'm still not sold on Oosthuizen, he may get lucky & catch Stevenson early. I don't see it though

    Stevenson has been a beast lately! I see him stopping Oosthuizen

    It's enough to give pimps a bad name Stevenson Adonis, a rising boxing star, was arrested in November as part of a gang which forced young girls into prostitution. For entertainment, Adonis would make the girls box each other in the nude. When there was no champ, he'd administer the K.O. blow himself.

    Tommy o is the better all round fighter but quite easy to catch and Stevenson can definitely punch. Good fight

    I always thought redemption is when you do something genuinely good to redeem yourself and it involves a lot of humility. Going from punching women to punching men a redemption does not make... :)

    I think gym is making a big mistake here. I think Stevenson needs at least two more fights before he's ready to mix it for a title. Oozen proved last night he's a real deal so I would not be too egar to make a fight with him and your undefeated but untested knockout artist.
