Stevenson's weaknesses - predictable left hand, gasses and keeps his hands low.

He's not perfect, there are plenty of technically better fighters with more complete skill sets but he has the physical attributes to overcome the gaps in his game.

He's predictable, tends to throw the same jab, straight left over and over again. Bellew showed he's less effective if he has to chase an opponent as he is more effective when an opponent comes to him and he can sit back and counter.

When he is forced onto the front foot he can be countered on the way in, due to his low guard.

Will be interesting to see how he copes with Hopkins movement, counter punching and inside game. Stevenson has pretty much every physical advantage but if anyone can overcome such a physical disparity it's Hopkins.

Stevenson will get knocked out again. Fonfara was not a top fighter and he knocked him down, out boxed him in the later rounds. Now fans see why Stevenson ran to Showtime, broke the agreement with HBO to fight Kovalev...............however, SOB Ward still refuses to fight Stevenson at 168.................Kovalev knocks out Stevenson, Hopkins, SOB Ward, Fonfara, you name them...............

I seriously think Lemiuex would KO Steveson.

I watched the Fonfara fight again, and if Fonfara knew how to throw combinations, he would have KO'd Stevenson. Adonis has far too many flaws to hold that belt for very long, unless Haymon continues to protect him.

good question. I don't know about Lemiuex chin - as far as I know he has not been KTFO -he gassed vs. Rubio.

But Stevensons chin is highly suspect. he is not that fast but does have power, and could most likely KTGO Lemiuex.

I just don't think he could keep Lemiuex off him, and that would be his downfall. Stevenson has not fought a puncher since Boone I & II. I think it would be interesting vs Lemiuex and I'd take Lemiuex.

Before I didn't think so but now I think that Hopkins may even beat him.

The only thing Ward will be cleaning is HBO's commentator booth.

He just gassed? Are you ****ing nuts? Rubio tagged him with a perfect right hand and sent his senses into lala land. Lemieux relied too much on his power, got discouraged, and left himself wide open. END OF.

Funny how this doesn't show the 5 rounds of onslaught where he pounds on Rubio like a madman, with Rubio covering up and moving out of range. Worst gameplan ever, night and day with what he does now in the ring by pacing himself. Rubio said after the fight that he was really glad all those hard shots landed on his gloves, because if they landed flush on his face he wouldn't be talking to [the interviewer]; he'd be in the hospital. He said all that with a big smile and a look of excitement on his face.
