    Grand mate; yourself?

I'm sure I'll give the fight a wee look; I can't see it being a bad one.

McDonagh - was a cracking fight but he just held the edge throughout.

Looked like forcing a stoppage a couple of times late as well.

He's never gonna be world class, but he'll give any below that a decent scrap every time.

I think Tony Dodson and Jermain Mackey(Commonwealth champion) are the 2 names Magee will be looking at in the immediate future.

No doubt Kenny Anderson is a fantastic prospect, but as a Warren fighter it's unlikely he'll be matched with one of the good fighters in Hennessey's stable, not that he couldn't win(with Anderson's power I'd give him a great chance with a bit more seasoning), but Warren rarely deals with other British promoters.

Very good win for Magee tonight, now he can try and look to add the Commonwealth title to the British and see if he can get a European shot sometime next year.

I god damm missed the end of this fight. How did it end and was Maggie good? Hopefully he will fight Dodson in the near future.

Magee floored McGuire twice in the 6th with some nice body shots, in the 7th he started to break McGuire would quality punches to the head, before going back to the body once more in the 8th to win the fight.

He looked very good once he had McGuire hurt but was pretty average before that. He's not the fighter he once was but should still have enough to handle anyone at domestic level. Whether he still has enough to perform at European level I'm not so sure.

Yep he always seems to just fall short at the higher level. Good win for him though.
