Money is not an issue with Miguel for this fight. He chose to have it at MSG where he'll being paying alot more in tax from his purse, so why would 50K make a difference in his trainer's salary? Steward has a lot going on with other fighters, this is an important fight for Cotto which he feels he'll need his trainer to be with him full-time for.

if it turns out that margarito was not wearing stone wraps, the fight is going to play out exactly the same, unless cotto has somehow gained stamina, because margarito's still a wrecking ball who's naturally bigger and stronger than cotto, and if pacquiao put that sort of beatdown on margarito, I don't think there's much cotto can do to stop him, so banging on the inside isn't the best strategy. I think it's gonna be a great fight but margarito walks cotto down again

Exactly! The Pavlik/Taylor situation really opened my eyes and showed me what Steward is all about. He's a good trainer, but the man has a serious integrity deficit.

 

Cotto did a stupid thing, could cost him the fight.............
