"ive always been one of his biggest fans, ive studied him closely in all of his fights since amateur,so i know him pretty well,we have talked and the chemistry has been good"

"miguel has alot of talent and he cant finish his career with two defeats and a close decision. At this point in his career, he can not afford to lose another fight. His last couple of fights would have been tough for anyone, but that doesnt mean that as a boxer he isnt required to work on certain technical skills and movements that he used when he first started in the sport. miguel means alot to his people and the boxing community, he has to work hard to regain those wonderful movements that he used to have and focus on natural punching ability that made him an idol in puerto rico."

"on june 5th speed not power will be the key to victory for miguel. To beat foreman by knockout is not a mandatory requirement, but I do want him to win impressively. He is a strong fighter, but above all very intelligent, and that is very important because a big part of training right is the psychological aspect. 40% of my work with him will be to talk and give advice.

Cotto is very happy with the addition of steward and expects a very impressive performance against foreman. News conference for the fight will be held this friday in ny

I'll be rooting for Cotto on this one. This will be a make 'em or break 'em fight for MC. Win it and it's a confidence booster for him and he'll continue to fight. Lose it and in all probability, he'll retire.

I think Cotto can rebound with Manny in his corner. Manny's been successful for years training heavyweights so this shouldn't be any different.

I think Steward's a great choice. he'll get him in great shape, he'll work on his right hand technique and his defence. Most importantly, almost all Steward fighters work on their jabs. Cotto's is a fantastic one and he doesn't use it enough. Hopefully Manny will get him to use it as a consistant weapon.

Hopefully steward can restore my favorite fighter to his former self.
