If Mayorga can turn back the clock Cotto could be in trouble, did he look that bad in his last fight?

 

I ****ing love Mayorga. His last fight was hilarious with his showboating. He's beyond shot but I don't care I'm still gonna watch him. He's one crazy mother****er.

 

Mayorga is the type that will always have people watch him, love or hate him he is entertaining...it wuld b an interesting fight but 1 I think Cotto wins via brutal left hook to the jaw in the 9-10th round!

I'm all for this one! Mayorga/Cotto has been a long time coming in my opinion. Of course Mayorga isn't the Mayorga of the early 2000's but he's still exciting and dangerous.

I actually like this fight. Its not a ppv headliner like Arum is going to make it but its still a fun fight. Mayorga is probably too far in decline to beat Cotto but he should make it an entertaining fight until Cotto stops him. It wouldn't be a bad idea to match up Mayorga and Margarito later on this year if Cotto beats both of them. Mayorga might be at the end but there are a few entertaining fights out there for him if matched properly, Mayorga is always entertaining.

mayorga says cotto is trash and he hasn't fought with the handsome men he fought. he isn't anything and i'll give him a beating. i'll knock him out in 2 rounds.

Bad matchup for Cotto, Mayorga is never an easy fight(aside from the De La Hoya match where he pissed off Dela Hoya b4). Even if Cotto wins he looks horribly, and him and his shaky chin gets wobbled a few times if not dropped at least once.

And at 154 I not sure Cotto has the power to make Mayorga respect like Tito and De La Hoya did, hell Cotto's power didn't even translate well to 147, and we all have seen that Cotto is very hittable, can he take Mayorga's power IDK. Intriguing matchup scenario I would love to see this fight.

Prime Mayorga that beat the crap out of Vernon easily gets in Cotto's head and knock him out silly

Mayorga took bombs after bombs from Trinidad and it took him 9 rounds to get him out of there and this is at 160

The Mayorga of today can still give Cotto trouble but if Cotto boxes carefully like he did vs Mosley i think he will win by comfortable ud12

But if Mayorga catches Cotto on the chin, it is gonna be lights out
