This dude only has a puncher's chance and has only been ko'd by big punchers like Tito, Oscar, and Shane. Cotto doesn't have that type of power and even though I'm going for Cotto, it's not going to be as easy as many think. Mayorga is an awkward fighter and will get acouple of licks in.

 

with his lifestyle i dont think there's anything left in him. but it will be a very entertaining fight.

He can trump them if he wants, providing he takes the bet....if I lose I sport it....if I win...he does....but wont matter because loser will be gone for first 30 days......then for the 30 days after that sport them

I'd be surprised if Mayorga can any offer up any real substance at this point, particulary against an opponent like Cotto. Not so interested...

 

Personally I think your bet is pretty safe anyway, dont see Mayorga doing too much after 4 or 5 rounds and nothing to devastating in those 4 or 5 rounds.

why would a declining fighter like cotto fight martinez? he knows there is no way he can win, the fight might get stopped
declining fighters need to fight declined fighters and just make interesting fights. Not to mention cotto has always been a B fighter his whole career

Like if you were a promoter and you had Gatti as your fighter would you put him in with Mayweather or Ward 3 times?
everybody has they own lane and some fighters need to stay in it, you dont always have to try and prove your great when your not to be a fighter just get in good fights and dont try to do what you know in your soul cant be done.
