MAB isn't half the fighter Sugar ever was, and MAB didn't even fight back against Pac, and MAB gaveEM hell, who gave PAc hell. Duran beat the best that he faced in his prime, and lost to better fighters past his better days. Man ball up these thoughts and throw them in the gobbage lol...

You don't have the ability to roast me. I state facts... you pick out a couple different fights, and do nothing but list your numerous biased opinions on every fight and fighter involved.

This seems to be the list that you run through for your posts concerning this debate.

Make an exuse for every Duran defeat?

Biased opinion towards all of Pac's opponents?

Inflate Duran's very few victories over top notch opponents?

Weigh heavily on losses in Pac's career that came at a very young age, while using my biased opinion in reverse to pretend that Pac was in his prime?

Be sure to discredit all of Pac's wins by claiming the fighters, even world Champions that he fought were all past it?

Charlie Zelenoff could be 72-1 fighting Janitors too.

Did you even bother to watch the first MAB vs Pac fight?

    MAB didn't fight back?:rofl

Duran was also beat in his prime by the best fighter that he faced. And Dejesus wasn't even on the level of any of the top guys we are mentioning here. Duran was still very much in his prime when he was getting embarrassed by SRL, Laing, Benitez... ect... Guys like you just like to make that comfortable excuse so that you can write off his losses. Ironically, Duran was also actually the same age that Pac is now.

    Here is the end result.

Pac moved up in weight just like Duran.

Pac BEAT all of the best fighters that he faced in his career.
Duran LOST to all of the best fighters that he faced in his career.

    It's that simple.

Bottom line, those who are professional analysts, scribes, historians, sport journalists from Thomas Hauser to Bert Sugar, from pro boxers, past and current the likes of srl, big george, hagler, hearn to trainers with no hidden agendas acknowledge the Pacman as the true phenom, fighter of the decade, unquestioned resume as regards to quality of oppositions and unprecedented achievements...

Jealousy, racism, insecurity and being paid a dime a post by PBF inc. are the motivations behind the ridiculous mental gymnastics needed to denigrate the glaring achievements of one of the greatest athlete in competitive sport.

Having said that, I think Pac's reign as the mexicutioner will end with Margo...even Pac is resigned to accept this, because in his world view, this is a kinda payback , a price mere mortals have to pay to taste the grandeur of greatness, a logical end to our original sin...the guy is a fundamentalist type catholic who believe in the religions myth and symbolism and chose Margo, and not say Foreman, not because of physical dimension or other excuses but because the former is a persecuted figure, seeking redemption, for a country needing redemption and Pac perfectly willing to sacrifice himself to render balance to a people through whom he had found greatness.

That 72 - 1 includes wins over Ken Buchanan, Carlos Palomino and Sugar Ray Leonard who are all in the hall of fame as well as wins over two guys who should be in the hall of fame Marcel and De Jesus. Thats not even mentioning beltholders such as Kobayashi, Ishimatsu and Saol Mamby.

KO wins when past his prime against Davey Moore and HOFer Pipino Cuevas as well as winning the middleweight title at 38. Duran ruled the lightweight division for SEVEN years with an iron fist before proceeding to jump up to welter and defeat Ray Leonard. Manny Pacquiao is an ATG but he has never, and will never, face anyone of the calibre of Hagler, Hearns or Leonard. Miguel Cotto is a very good fighter but how would he have done against Benitez, Palomino, Moore and Cuevas... Durans record is filled with anything but janitors.

I already said that Duran was a great fighter... without a doubt. He is also extremely overrated. I was clearly exaggerating acting as if he only fought Janitors... in retort to the extreme bias being shown on the other end of the debate. However, I must say that Duran's "reign" before fighting SRL was EXTREMELY overrated. It was made up of a few good fighters along with about 68 club fighters.
