It's a "NON"-issue NOW convincing the large majority that PAC is in fact the better fighter. 20 yrs from now it will be even easier. Espeically given the fact that PAC went above and beyond what most expected to see that the fight became reality....where Floyd seemed to do everything possibel to PREVENT the fight from happening.

Mike is much like FLOYD in the sense that Mike had incredible talent, ablity and skills that outweighed most of his peers. His POTENTIAL has much to do with his legacy being what it is today. Mike didn't have a STUNNING resume...it's VERY GOOD maybe even great. But it's not like Ali's resume......Just like Floyd's resume is VERY Good, but it's not on level with PAC's resume.

Floyd's resume is very good...but it's not great. PAC's resume is great. And that is what will be remembered. If the fight doesn't come off Floyd's legacy is gonna take a major hit b/c he seems to be the one everyone is pointing the finger at as the reason this fight has not came off.

Floyd's style is what it is...more technical...sometimes more flashy but not one is gonna say Floyd was the better fighter just b/c he had more of a "classic boxer" style. Manny's unorthodox and awkward style is acutually a big part of what makes him P4P King. Similar to Ali with his awkward style gave him the advantage over most of his oppostion during his day.

Getting your ass handed to you 5 times isn't great at all.

But getting your ass handed to you 19 times makes you G.O.A.T.

Nah man...Manny's rep has only gotten bigger, and stronger as he continues to make history. Sure...that can come crashing down around him if he loses. You're only as good as your last performance in this sport. But IF PAC wins anther belt in an 8th weight division "YOUR" stance on how PAC is percieved by the masses is gonna be even more difficult to support than it is now.

Floyd had rough times as well...don't get it twisted. Even with DLH, which was actually one of his BEST wins, he struggled. Lost a good number of rounds early and had to win the championship rounds to grab the win. DLH wasn't exactly PEAK...nor was he anywhere near SHOT! but he also struggled with Ricky which was very surprising. Floyd definitely won MOST of the rounds but he allowed the Jr WW, undfeated champ to pretty much last 10 rounds, where physically Floyd was controlled.

PAC has had one equal in JMM over the last 7 yrs or so. He lost to EM but the fact remains PAC has evolved A LOT over the past 8 or 9 yrs that is VERY noticeable. Floyd has ALWYAS been consistantly operating at this level.

I'm impress by Pac's achievements, but honestly I will be more impress if he fought these guys with no weight demands. Also I would like for him to defeat the hungry and upcoming fighters like Bradley or Alexander or even the Berto's who are completely 100 % focus in boxing and have no distractions or issues. Then that will be the day I will put Pac with that elite class.

    I agree.

Pac moved up in weight and dominated. Duran moved up in weight and lost.

Its very different, Duran's opponents were much bigger than him and also at that time in their primes completely focus and dominating their weight classes. Manny did defeat great names, but then again with weight demands and many of them with their mind not really into boxing and personal issues. DLH at 147 come on, Cotto at 145 with his personal issues and not fully heal/restedl from his Clottey fight? And then Clottey not with his head trainer? Now Margarito with demons to be answer, one fight in how many years? Duran fought guys at 147, 154 and 160 by the names of Leornard, Hearns, and Hagler, and Barkley. Can you really compare?
