Wouldn't it be awesome if Cotto did avenge both his losses to Margarito and Pacquiao?

Of course, it's never going to happen though. One thing's for certain, Mayorga's getting KO'd.

Cotto just isn't quick enough to ever beat Pacquiao, no matter who trains him.

Cotto has a brilliant jab, but Pacquiao constantly timed it, because he's so much quicker.

Cotto: Better stay away from Margo and Pac. Go after Floyd instead!

i wouldnt say it couldnt be done. there were stretches of both fights where cotto outboxed or matched his competition pretty evenly. if he feels more comfortable at his new weight and he learns what steward tries to teach him...who knows? theres a whole new group of variables thrown into the equation and the guy has the heart and the brains to improve. not saying he will but im not writing it off either.

I like and respect Manny when he does things like this. Manny often will make statements like this to build up his fighters that he feels need some mental massaging. Like when he said that Wlad would beat Lennox and that Pavlik was a bum and wasn`t on JT`s level...right before pavlik knocked JT the **** out. I mean its clearly all bull**** but at least he doesn`t care what you think he`s just interested in getting his main fighter`s in as good a mental state as he can. I can respect that.
