Steward is afraid that if Wlad's disgraceful glass jaw is brutally shattered again that his reputation as a trainer may take a hit.

Steward realizes that Wlad shouldn't go in with guys who love to bang. He doesn't have that type of mentality. That's why I want to see him fight Arreola; a guy who will make him fight.

  6. If that was the case he wouldn't have been covered in spit.

I have no doubts that Wlad did duck Chisora. People can say he did it to make the Haye fight, but that could have taken place at a later date quite easily. Whilst Haye's insistence on his retirement was the excuse, everyone knows that if he'd beaten Wlad, he would have postponed his retirement to fight Vitali in the same way he will fight him now.

Aside from that, Wlad was always in the driving seat in negotiations and Haye had no leverage to tell him what to do. If Haye wanted the fight with Chisora to be cancelled, Wlad could have said "no" and that would be final.

Chisora poses problems for Wlad because he has a mid-range game, unlike Wlad, he his hard to hit on the outside and he can punch on the inside, also unlike Wlad. He'll also take shots to land his own and won't back down.

Wlad would likely outbox Chisora and spoil to disrupt any momentum. However, Chisora was avoided for the same reason the Klitschkos are very selective with all their opposition.

Owned how? I said Wlad would beat him then and I said he would now. It would have been a disgraceful fight back then as Chisora's best win was over Sexton. I stand by that comment. Chisora was clearly not prepared to go 12 rounds back then, he didn't have the mentality of a top class fighter and he had no big wins. Again, I stand by everything I said.

If you think my comments are some supposed hypocrisy, you're wrong. Wlad fans shouldn't have accepted the decision to fight an opponent who's best win was over Sexton. It was unacceptable. Could Chisora have done something to Wlad? I was maybe wrong about this. I never thought he could but my stance has changed somewhat.

I don't think Wlad ducked him nor do I think he will but I do think that Chisora would give Wlad a lot of problems, it seems that Chisora's style is the one that Wlad often has problems with.
