    He states that style wise,

"Jones stye will be more awkward for Joe to handle" ..

Also states that the Hopkins will be the ultimate motivator ..

    Who agrees with this ?

well, it's a double edge sword.....joes style is also akward for any fighter to deal with, but i agree that jones style will be akward for him to deal with his as well

i see it playing out like Hopkins-Calz....Jones lands the more effective, cleaner shots in the inside, but calzaghe workrate with his slaps'll steal the rounds

:goodThought you meant him. Interesting pick. What's Manny's picking record like? Is he in the Teddy Atlas bracket or not?

But when Calzaghe slaps Jones in to oblivion Manny will be saying:

''Calzaghe's style is too much for Roy to work out right now; this is exactly what I expected''

Not sure but if it mirrors Atlas that logical thinking would be to not go with what he picked

Manny usually picks the right fighters, I remember he picked Wright over Trinidad when everyone was on the Trinidad bandwagon, Hopkins over Tarver and many other interesting picks. Didn't he pick Hopkins over Pavlik recently?

No way this will be a one sided beat down in Calzaghe's favor and you can quote me on that as I've said before. I think he is probably going to stop Jones early if anything. All of these older American trainers can jump out of the wood work saying Calzaghe will lose because they dislike that he has played a great part in bringing boxing to Europe and the fact that he has become one of the first white all time pound for pound greats but these people will be proved wrong. I hope Calzaghe fights Hopkins again in Britain this time where Hopkins will have to go to the champion's backyard. Oh and one more thing for all these idiots who claim that Calzaghe only won Hopkins because he gassed out check the compubox stats Hopkins was throwing more shots later on in the fight than he was at any other time in the fight.

Don't know but I am sure Teddy picked Calzaghe over Hopkins. That in itself defines Calzaghe's greatness-he beat the 'Atlas Curse'. The curse did have a minimal effect though as Joe eked out a SD.

calzaghes too feather fisted to KO Jones (specially early), and thats taken into consideration that Jones is shot and has a glass jaw.....
