Same I would be astounded if it was in this year, AJ/Hearn making too much from endorsements etc.

Despite what some clowns say, a KO loss (even if it is a relatively outside chance, who knows) to Wilder would massively damage Brand AJ, how could it not?

Have you not seen the videos of "our Ant'" driving around sink estates in London giving out wads of cash to "the yout dem".

The guy is making an absolute fortune, and there's only ONE person who can a throw a spanner in that works....Deontay Wilder. Hearn AND AJ happy to sit on this one as long as possible, fight some let's face it tomato can in the interim and finally cave in to public pressure at least 9 months away.

    Yeah I agree.

Also I'm not sure how this deal works but this Hearn/DAZN deal might well have a few AJ fights "agreed" on it???

Hearn might want to get a few relatively "easy" defences on there before really rolling the dice.

I'm not justifying it, I'm just thinking out loud and basically asking why all involved are dragging their feet.

So much BS being talked, so much hubris, but not one of you clowns actually addressed anything this thread is about. Just came here to wank eachother off to the thought of Eddie Hearn's fat bent face.

Ask yourselves, why didn't Hearn immediately send a contract and proof of funds with any of his offers? Seeing as this is standard practice according to him, and all of you, surely he's 100% responsible for the delay. The fact team Wilder agreed terms without a contract or proof of funds 100% proves they're desperate to make this fight and AJ is ducking hard lol.

I just came on here to see what you chaps had to say about this fight

No wonder why I cheer for all the underdogs that get shat on here.

All of my favourite fighters these days are BN24 villains........

If the shoe was on the other foot, the whole front page would be sticking it to Wilder yet we only get this 1 thread which isn't even properly titled.

The one sided nature of this forum is pretty pathetic, its pretty much a fan club for all the fighters from HBO/Sky/EasternEuropean fighters.

This has been pretty farcical on both sides and it's now sooooooo boring. Joshua just fight Pov, Hybrid just fight fat boy Miller or Breazeale. Then come back when you're ready to negotiate a fight like professionals.

the public dont really know whats going on. we just hear the rumors. but we cant go believing everything we hear. from the outside looking in it deff looks like aj and hearn are to blame. but really i dont think we know , i dont care about all the bs just make the fight already. there gonna mess around and ruin this fight if they dont make it now. joshua vs povetkin is beyond risky imo. povetkin is a little older but dude can fight yes aj will prolly win but man thats risky . just fight wilder already or it wont look good for u. but aj dont care he gettin paid all types of money and his fans love him he cant do no wrong. aj dont want none is what it look like but then again i dont believe everything either. idc bout the non sense make the fight.

Maybe because Hearn made an offer that was real and believable. While Wilders team made an offer that required an explanation that wasn't provided.

People get too involved these days with negotiations. No one apart from Matchroom and Wilders managers know what is happening. No one has seen any of the terms that have been offered. Yet people will take a word from either side as gospel.

Wilders $50m might of been legit numbers wise but who knows what that involves. Wilder himself has only ever had a purse of $2.1m. They were using Joshua to generate that investment, Joshua could of been forced to do anything in the run up to the fight. People just don't give away $50m without a return. I'd be surprised if the event does more than 250,000 PPV buys as neither fighter are names in America. It will however do 1.5m+ in the UK.

Wilder to me looks like he is playing games. Everything from him has been in the media. He felt the Joshua v Povetkin fight was signed when he came up with this send the contract business. Now the ball is in his court as it wasn't signed and now has a contract on his hand. I wouldn't be surprised if something is wrong with the contract.

Hearn may get stick but Showtime won't be happy putting a PPV so close to GGG v Canelo, Showtime will be telling him that. If Wilder wants the fight it will have to happen October to November. The delay has mean't that 15,000 less tickets will be on sale due to it needing to be at the Millennium Stadium now. People don't seem to realise that if Wilder wants more money, it has to be generated and make business sense for both fighters.

Why wouldn't Hearn want it? I see the Povetkin fight just as dangerous as the Wilder fight to be honest. The Wilder fight generates more money.

Yeah no-one thinks Crawford, Spence, Thurman, Ward, Mikey, Canelo, Charlo, Inoue, Niete, Rungsivai, Jacobs, Linares, Belchet, Davis, LSC, GRJ or anyone lighter is any good.

*Please read the above in a very sarcastic tone.

Wilder is far more risky imho.Bit to early incase AJ gets done. Agree good money, but AJ can sell out 80k fighting anyone.

Just don't see it to be honest. Wilder is much more sloppy, weighs less than Povetkin. Povetkin is technically better, has a better resume, gold medal. Wilder has more power. Povetkin has enough power to hurt Joshua. Povetkin fight is tough.
