Exactly. That's what I meant saying he was too hard on Povetkin. Only 14th pro fight and dominating two time World Champ says a lot.
I am suprised that Pov doesn't exactly have the KO power of a Foreman or Tyson the way they came up but I'm sure Byrd's defensive skill had a lot to do with that.
I'm sure he does even better in 15th pro fight

Byrd's style of boxing is one to be sucessful when being executed by a young fighter.......

......lets be realistic about a possible move down to cruiser.....what the heck type of payout is he going to be recieving fighting the likes of Virgil Hill?
Next to nothing in comparison to his paydays as a heavyweight.

Byrd has been fortunated to have made a good amount of money to live comfortable for the rest of his life, he should do so with his health intact.

    I hope thats sarcasm.

Ike was walking Byrd down, hitting him with lead right hands.

If Hill wins in Germany then Byrd should challange him to fight in Germany where the money is.
They could get a couple of million to split...Euro's real money.....:D

That is a big if on Hill's winning in germany not becasue of the international judges, but becasue he's old and the other man is a pure pressure fighter.....
On German TV after the Byrd fight, Hill challanged Maske to a third fight, and Maske declined.

I had Hill robbed 8 to 4 on that one.
