Chavez beat the living hell out of world class guys like Taylor, Mayweather, Camacho sr., etc etc

Cotto has beat the living hell out of Judah, Malignaggi, Abdulaev, Branco, Quintana, etc etc

Who laid out the more vicious beatings at this point ?

I will have to go with Chavez but Cotto is 1 or 2 beatings away on world class fighters to be on par with chavez

Can anyone post pics of Chavez's opponents and Cotto's opponents ...it will look like a gallery of horror villains !

I just think back at a fight Chavez was losing..to Meldrick Taylor.Taylor landed more punches throughout, won almost all the rounds...and was unrecognizable at the end, with broken bones in his face, pissing pure blood, and was never the same afterwards. When a guy who is getting outscored 2 to 1 for 12 rounds almost kills his opponent..thats a punisher!

To date every single man Cotto has faced has been dropped, stopped, punished and/or quit.

Until this fact changes I will go with Cotto.

Cotto and Chavez both were and are great for the game of boxing you have to respect these two greats one hall of famer and the other on the way there. Exciting fighters you got and get your moneys worth on PPVS

Julio Cesar Chavez. His punches don't always look like much, but it didn't even seem like he landed consistently on Meldrick Taylor for most of the fight.

His fight with Greg Haugen is another nice example of punishing.

    Edwin Rosario.

Look at El Chapo's face by the time the fight was stopped.

He gave Camacho a nice sustained beatdown as well. Felt sorry for Hector that night.

Yeah, that was a pretty bad whooping. Camacho took his beating like a man. He could have quit and I wouldn't have blamed him, but he took it and lasted the distance.

I give him props for that.

I also liked Chavez's fight against Sammy Fuentes.
