Canelo is a fraction of the fighter that Chavez was. Chavez Sr. was a better boxer, hit harder, had a better chin and faced far greater opposition than Canelo ever will.
It's not Canelo's fault though that this era's contenders are far weaker than Chavez's generation.
Chavez had stars like Meldrick while Canelo has a hyped bum like Bumnady Bumovkin.

 

Miguel Cotto is a blood and guts warrior thats always came looking for a War.
