:think Boxing being the way it is, how plausible is it that the WBC are waiting out on a report regarding Wilders medical situation?
If Wilder is out for an extended period then why not slap an interim belt on Povetkin?
That way they can wrap their arms around two cash cows.

Why not declare wilder champion in recess that's what they did for dzord.

If Wilder is out until the end of the year, he should be declared champ in recess while Povetkin and (Pulev perhaps) fight for the vacant title. They did it for Drzod and Linares too. That's what should happen here, moreso because Wilder should've waited until the Povetkin issue is resolved and not rush into a lame voluntary defense. He brought this on himself. If he recovers in 6 months, he can challenge Povetkin vs TBA winner for the belt.

It's definitely something really fishy. Wilder is feasted bum after bum till he's gonna cash out vs A.J or Fury/W.K II winner.

This situation is so messed up and seems to be very shady. I don't have a clear cut answer all I know is Wilder has to fight Povetkin in his next fight whenever just may be. Fighting the Molina's, Duhaupas's, and Areeola's of the world is a total joke.
Wilder rushed out of the fight with Povetkin and then jumped on an easy payday, instead of waiting for the results. Lot of ppl defended the move and I understand because the WBC have handled this like amateurs, to try and earn a living but he wasted it on a no hoper small payday like Arreola. The fight didn't draw flies and Wilder looked average at best fighting a human punching bag. Now he's hurt and who knows if he'll ever be the same.

Do you people read WBC's nonsenses on this subject ?:nut:patsch They keep blabbering about their super trusted anti-doping program and how Povetkin must discuss them first about this situation and then they will come out with a verdict 'in few days' , bla, bla, bla.:barf

The thing is, I that they know that Povetkin is guilty and are undecided on what to do because of that Russian money lol. The WBC is either going to take that money or suspend Povetkin. My guess is that they take the money.

**** thread so I took my **** here.

Wilder would KO that short punk any given Sunday. Hell if they had allowed the fight every boxer under the sun would have written permission to use PEDs:deal
