    Lots of people on here are scared to see Wilder fighting Povetkin. Wilder is a KO waiting to happen.

    It's up to Povetkin to pee clean.

    Kinda funny how Wilder is supposed to be this pushover, but a guy like Povetkin thinks he needs PEDs to get in the ring with him.

    Gmurphy, Bab Bot and Leoh have the right idea.

    Make Povetkin fight somebody for an interim title, or make him interim champ outright. Wilder is champion emeritus and can call on Povetkin to fight him at any time. That way Wilder can have 10 tuneups vs garbage collectors if he wants and Povetkin can do th heavy lifting.

    Why would they do that? That's only six months. A lot of fighters only fight every six months anyway. You are acting like he is going to be out two years.

    And even if Wilder wasn't hurt there is no guarantee Povetkin would be his next opponent anyway. Hell we still don't know if Povetkin is going to be suspended or not.

    More than likely Wilder will get to sit on his ass for the better part of 12 months while the entire division waits. When he comes back another voluntary defense.
