Bob Arum promised that Rigo would have a fight lined up weeks ago, instead it's the loser Nonito Donaire who has got one!

Vic Darchinyan would have made a great opponent for Rigo and promised a fan friendly fight too with an almost certain KO finish. Instead he's now being lined up for Donaire even though it's at Featherweight and no one is interested in the rematch.

Rigo should have been the co-main fighter on Cotto-Rodriguez in Florida which is a heavily Cuban populated area, instead Terrance Crawford got a fight instead...****ing incredible!

Boxing fans must show their protest and contact HBO especially subscribers to get Rigo a fight by the end of 2013. Rigo easily beat a Top 5 P4P boxer in his last fight and for me is now Top 3 himself, despite what the haters say he's also very entertaining if you enjoy pure boxing. There is no one in boxing who is as beautiful to watch in full flow and i include Mayweather in that too.

These idiots at TopRank and HBO are going to waste Rigo's best years and we boxing fans are missing out on seeing one of the best boxers of his generation do his thing.

theres no more promise in 122...he needs to go 126..so much potential there for great matches. understand that he is great at 122 and would not budge, but sometimes you have to to make fights.

What's there for him at 126? It's already beyond clear that any time the two are in the same division, Top Rank will always give anyone of any name value to Donaire instead, so he'd be in the same situation he was in for the past 3 years.

There's plenty of good fights for him at 122lbs.

He should have faced Darchinyan next and then maybe Kiko Martinez which would both be exciting fights whilst they lasted. After those two he could have faced the unbeaten pair of Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg next year which would both be massive fights in Ireland and England.

If they put enough cash on the table they could also make a fight with the current Bantamweight number 1 Shinsuke Yamanaka which would be a fantastic fight.

Lots of options there but seems like HBO and Toprank don't care about showcasing or marketing Rigo despite his amazing boxing skills.

122 has no one in his league or that will put a challege or will accept a challege from Rigo. He has some serious skills. Atleast when he leave TR he will have nice names on his resumes there (126).

I concur, while they last only..

also, Rigo doesnt bring in money so i dont think Shin or Moreno will come up. (i think moreno is a free agent)

126 is pretty damn weak at the moment as well. Salido's about finished, Lopez is finished and can't make the weight anymore, Gamboa and Garcia are gone, Gonzalez and Mares are under contract to Golden Boy, and John won't fight in the US (and if he did take on someone, it would be Donaire since Top Rank will only invest money in his fights).

Agree with this, no point going up to 126lbs especially as the money fighter there(Mares) was just KTFO.

If Toprank had any sense, they would be marketing him as the most skilled boxer in the sport and a special attraction.
