i never new huck was top of the rankings. i thought he was a mandatory for cunningham but that fight seems to have fallen through with cunningham taking on adamek. i have seen all of huck`s tv fights. warren will avoid him if he can, good fighter. look for someone around the 100 mark to be the opponent is my guess. gunn was #240 or thereabouts. and if it is a fighter ranked 100 or so it should not be called a title fight. i miss gary newbon tearing into warren after fights.
well, i think it will be quite embarrasing for macca and warren if he doesn't fight someone good, as according to the article in which he responded to darnell wilson "But Maccarinelli may have bigger fish to fry. Although, if that doesn't happen, Wilson would then emerge as the likely candidate." by that, i have to take it that macca will fight someone better/more well known than wilson.
Warren is disgraceful. This bill had so much potential but he is going to live off one fight. He could have put enough fights on to dominate the sports pages on sunday and monday.
it should be fragomeni. he has been training real hard with haye and how macca does against him compared to haye would be a great marker as to how good he is.
I was thinking of going to the fight but if main event is on at 2am there'd better be a decent undercard to pass the time.
Fragomeni is coming off a good win and has a title too. Legit win but Fragemoni now deserves more than 3 weeks preparation, especially after his last two bouts.
Most genuine contenders will have to already be in training for a fight or they'll just turn the chance down and wait for their shot.
that darnell wilson should have just got the call. has a big mouth and hardened on the american circuit. :verysad
lets just say if rob calloway is in the top 15..........then its rob calloway in the other corner!!!!
I just Boxrec'd Calloway and Buck Smith is on his recent record... http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=6117&cat=boxer
