I've seen a lot of robberies over the past couple years and generally I am with the majority on my scoring of those fights. But in this fight, I am with the original poster. I had Manny winning more rounds. Several were close rounds which I could understand scoring the other way slightly, but there was certainly no robbery here. Just the very pro Marquez crowd giving it that atmosphere.

Best to just move on though. This will always be controversial and everyone has an opinion. Mine just happens to agree with the qualified judges this time.

Only *******s are the ones saying to get over it. When you have the majority, which are not only Mexicans, but U.K., Filipino, whatever saying Marquez won it doesnt matter that the judges gave it to Pacman what matters to us the fans is what counts. For Marquez, tho, it does matter to him because he wants it to be official. Sadly, with Arum by Pacmans side, its not going to,happen. I think Marquez edged Pacman not based on cleaner shots, but he landed more tho throwing less. Pacman naturally threw much more, but missed many, many shots. But I will recognize the Pacman landing less shots, but more powerful shots ****ing Jmms face up, but cmon bro, a fighter getting his face ****ed up didnt mean he lost. Thats just a lame excuse to discredit him.

"Among neutral (non-Mexican and non-Filipino) experts who provided their scorecards,
    This content is protected
The Ring, which produces its own version of boxing's lineal championships, scored the bout in different ways: its editor, Michael Rosenthal, scored the bout 115-113 for Pacquiao; two of its writers, Lem Satterfield and Mike Koppinger, scored the bout 117-111 and 115-113 for Marquez, respectively, and another writer, Doug Fischer scored it a draw."

Get over it. . . I'm a huge fan of both fighters, but it's time to stop calling this a robbery, when it most definitely was not. . . I thought Marquez nicked it 115-113, but Pac victory 115-113 is equally justifiable. . .

Move on. . . These guys could fight 100 times, and all 100 times the fight would probably be just as controversial, winner notwithstanding. . .

I know what you mean I never said Marquez dominated Pacman, but theres many who think he was robbed of the victory. Marquez fans just want justice being served but we are realistic like I said it aint happenin. I understand maybe once, or twice, but not even once was he,awarded a victory. That my friend is straight up bull****. I'm also a fan of both and like many hardcore Marquez fans I didnt want Jmm to take a 3rd with Pacman because even if he did pull off a miracle like he did with the spectacular performance in the 3rd with the possibility of a Pacman-Mayweather fight looming Marquez wasn't going to get a just decision. Nobodies crying over anything just *******s baiting threads like these because they cant get over Pacman's invincibility shattered. Its that simple bro.

  11. i watched that **** again last night and it can be argued that jmm won every single round. horrid robbery. it wasnt close.

  12. most rounds were indeed competitive, but jmm won most of them very clearly.

Are these Compubox numbers, because i recently rewatched the fight and no way Pacquiao landed 18 punhces in the final round, there's no way Pac outlanded Marquez, CompuBox is a pile of ****, If they were accurate then don't you think boxing would do away with Judges? and determine the winner by these statistics?

Dude, even philipinos came out of the fight embarrassed, admitting JMM won... MOST boxers who have commented on the fight, I would say 99% have said JMM CLEARLY won.

Bob Arum apologized to JMM and said "It's just business".

If you think an argument for Pac winning the fight can be made, then you need to learn how to score a fight, or remove your Pac googles.
