Nothing wrong losing to SM, he will b back, nowdays if you have a loss is the end of world the media tends to u write off and the fans too, look at the oldtimers over a hundred fights and 10-15 loses, no sweat.

I hope he makes it back and that KO doesn't have lasting effects.

He needs to stop leading with his head. I've said it for years. It finally caught up with him brutally, though I would argue it caught up with him in the Quintana fight as well.

He can work his way up at 54 and possibly grab a title and set up some major fights. Hopefully he can fight an eliminator for the IBF strap and go from there.

He deserves a 3rd fight with Sergio. A few adjustments and he can be competitive in that fight.

I say he should make that fight with Cotto or rematch Margarito, thay all got something to prove.

Clottey would be a good fight.

Yep, I'm still on it too...

Seems like most people stopped after Sergio II.

Favorite PWill line; "I'm going to kill him to death." (referring to Kermit the Frog)

Hearns got beat too. It depends on who beats you, not so much that you got beat. I think Williams would still beat everyone at 147 and everyone at 154 except for Martinez who he should probably stay away from.

He could win the title in his next couple fights. I think he easily beats the paper champion Zbik or whatever his name is. On top of that I could see him winning a title at 160, or even as high as 175.

He will be a multi-weight class champion. With his height he could get all the way up to light heavyweight and win titles. He also has a good chin, Martinez tagged him on the right spot but it's not like he will easily be knocked out.

I think he could for sure, but he has GOT to learn to care about getting hit. He doesn't have the chin to just disregard defense the way he does. I hope his last fight taught him something about that.

one of my favorites if he uses his reach speed i think he could be a real force them long arms fully extended would hurt alot more needs a better jab nowadays you lose one and every1 writes you off then we complain that fighters cherry pick if all fighters were like williams boxing would be alot more exciting no one wanted to touch williams because of height what a joke if hes a welter hes a welter so he moves up 2 weights and still done more than compete martinez 1 was classic and to dominate winky like he did (altho obsiobsly past his best) loss may help williams as people see he can be beaten tho i cant see him being stopped with 1 shot by a welter i think he is capable of beating anyone at welter and lightmiddle and even middleweight true fighter :happy:happy

Martinez beat Williams two times! Martinez was cheated by Williams personal judges the first time, but Martinez was a clear winner. HBO lied about punch stats also, count the punch stats in the second fight! Martinez landed many more, no comparison at all. Count them! The fix was in, but Martinez landed one of the punches that HBO did not want anyone to see!
