50 mill is not life changing for Joshua

Joshua makes 30 mill plus a fight fighting anyone

Plus that 50 mill offer had no substance and it was down to AJ to bring that money to the pot

Bottom like is Wilder refused to make a 15 payday nearly 10 times his biggest purse Parker who also had a belt and is a bigger draw got 6 mill so wilder would of made more then double what parker made

AJ didn't rescieve a contract whereas wilder has a contract ready to be signed on but refuses to fight so he ducked end of story

Wlad got 15 mill for the Joshua fight lets put that in perspective here

No one should mention wilder again anyone who has a brain knew this was a publicity stunt to grow his shocking profile

You have any video of your pro fights to support your statement about being an undefeated pro?

Whether the $50 mill existed or not reality is Joshua didn't care for fighting in the US. He and Hearn says for loyalty to UK fans that have supported him so far, but the cynic in me thinks they just want every advantage they can get, which to be honest is the A-sides prerogative.

But as others have said $50 mill while a lot of money isn't much for a guy who likely regularly makes over $20 mill per fight now, even if it's against a mediocre opponent. Along with Joshua's endorsements, Joshua is likely making around $50 mill a year anyway, 2 fights equals $40 mill, Joshua's Jaguar endorsement alone makes him a million a year and he has over a dozen high profile endorsements from Lucozade to Under Armour to Dr Beats. Joshua is raking it in at the moment.

So Joshua refusing an extra 30-40% for the fight in the US is nothing compared to Wilder refusing what would be for him an extra 750%.

Yes, and we all know its not fair anywhere

Who can forget the British stoppage that AJ himself received against Takam?

How can Wilder avoid a similarly corrupt referee premature stoppage?

Lennox Lewis had no problem fighting here. Joshua is most privileged most cuddled heavyweight in English fighting history going all the way back to the Olympics. What corruption is he worried about, it's not like a fight between him and wilder is going to the cards. Or maybe, Maybe, Joshua is juicing and is afraid of getting caught if he fights in America.

Deontay shouted 50 million and Hearn said at that figure they would take the fight and he asked for the contract to be sent but mysteriously no contract appeared to show how they were going to fund the offer :ohno however the guaranteed 15 million pound purse offer he sent to Wilder has gone unanswered!!

As for it being a dumb decision if he gets beaten against his number 1 contender, I would say he is at least facing the mandatory - Wilder steered clear of Whyte and opted for Dominic Brezeale ffs :ciappa:

How many fights did Lewis have in the UK that attracted 70-80K fans? When he fought Bruno, they pulled in about 25K fans. Not to mention, between the two, Bruno was always much more a fan favorite then Lewis.

But either way, boxing today is NOT the same as it was in the early 90's. The US was still seen as the Mecca of boxing back then. That doesn't quite carry as much weight anymore.

Here is Hearn going over the detailed timeline of what happened with the negotiations

Sounds very credible, But the DAZN carrying it and muscling in on the mega Showtime’s fight contract with Wilder aspect that HeaArn was insisting on seemed to conviently be left out of his description. LOL
