Still think a champion should have to lose the title in the ring?

I know that one of the things that people love about the ring belt is that the champion has to lose it in the ring. No politics involve in title shots etc.

However after witnessing the "championship reign" of Joel casamayor, I think that we have an example of why sometimes stripping is neccesary and why there should be mandatories etc. He starts off by holding the title hostage not fighting for an entire year even though he wasn't injured or really having any excuse not to fight

When he finally does decide to fight it's against one of the most undersving men ever to get a title shot. He loses the fight but gets to keep the title due to possible the worse decision I have ever seen.

Meanwhile we have a kid out there cleaning out the division whom anyone with half a brain knows would destroy casamayor and we have to keep aclling casa champ?

I know we all hate politics in boxing but I think in this case they may be neccesary, force a fight between Joel and Juan or strip Joel

This is exactly why the people want to see the fight between Diaz and Casa as soon as possible. At least give CASA a chance to lose the belt no?
