People that say Femi wins with ease are deluded, he's going to get knocked out , said it from the start. And he might not show because he knows it's coming.
This is one of those fights where you think of lots of reasons where Whyte could pull off the upset. You want it to happen to prove yourself right. Fielding/Smith was similar, you knew Callum was the guy but thought of plenty reasons where Rocky could pull it off....then bang Ko 1. If a gun was put to your head and told make a decision.....over 95% of people would pick AJ for the win. Btw I am still thinking of ways for Whyte to win.
Never thought about it like that but you are 100% right. The combination of Joshua's size and speed is frightening really. I still think he'll get ironed out when someone lands but I can't see anyone taking what Joshua dishes out long enough to land. Not until he fights a Haye-type anyway. Hope I'm wrong!
Not a chance he will pull out. His new deal with MisMatchroom includes a cut of the PPV revenue for events he headlines.
Rocky was just happy to turn up and get the pay day. He wasn't even disappointed with the loss. Difference is Whyte has beaten FJ before and has 100% belief that he will do it again. Whyte is also a natural fighter and has a very solid chin, unlike feilding who was delivered out of a glass jaw when he was born and is not use to absorbing solid shots. The moment Callum landed, fielding folded over quicker than a tomato can. That ain't going to happen with Whyte and then it is going to end up like the price tompson fight, where Joshua is going to be shocked that his man is still standing and come 5/6th rnd he'll be panting like a little girl that has been asked to pick up a dumbbell. And that's when Whyte is going to smell blood and go in for the kill, body snatching his dirty body, vaccinating his ass until it is rendered quarantined.
He's unlikely to pull out. Unless he wants to retire, he's going to have to take fights against reasonable opposition. Beating Whyte wont mean much anyway, but it's a step up from the bums he's faced so far. I'm pretty sure Joshua and his promoter calculate Whyte to be fairly easy anyway.
