Guys, let's talk about this fight

    Head says Miocic
    Heart says DC

    I think Miocic outpoints him.

Stipe knocks Cormier out within two rounds. Stipe’s wrestling is good enough to prevent Daniel from dominating the fight there and his boxing and power is where he will pick Cormier apart and eventually hurt and finish him.

Could see him picking him off but DC's chin is granite. Only a roided leg on steroids has ever stopped DC

People seem to forget Gus almost took him out with that knee and follow up punch. Cormier has a good chin but it’s nothing that the accuracy, technique and power of Stipe can’t crack.

Miocic. Has enough skill to hang with DC and then there's the size advantage.

Hate to see DC lose, but see him trying to bang and losing by stoppage.

Gus is an incredible fighter himself. And a well placed knee and follow up punch would put most away

DC took a humble bomb and recovered

The odds are well and truly stacked against DC in this one - age, wear and tear, and brutal weight fluctuations

If he pulls it off there's very few outside of Fedor who could be rated higher

I think H2H prime Fedor at 24-30 years old was the best ever. Resume wise... this is an important fight between these two... but it won’t bump either past GSP imo. I think Stipe will get there though and surpass him. Plus he’s only 35 and has a few good years left in him.

I am not angry at all, but I disagree with so much here. I can't keep it to myself.

I think Fedor has the best resume ever, at heavyweight. H2H, I have problems seeing him defeat Cain and JDS. Fedor's punch defense is a real liability here. Fedor has a chance to armbar an aggressive Velasquez. I can't see him with an answer for Dos Santos.

I agree that Stipe and DC will not surpass GSP resume wise, with this one fight. I can't say that GSP definitely has the better resume in regards to Fedor. Fedor defeated two all time greats at his weight, Cro Cop and Nogueira. Pride era Cro Cop is dropping fast. I had Cro Cop 3rd all time several years ago. I probably have Cro Cop around 6th or 7th now. GSP had a stellar career at welterweight, but he only has one win against a real atg at the weight...his win over Hughes. Personally, I take GSP over Fedor. GSP is technically better almost every where, and his resume is great as well.

You think Stipe will surpass GSP? You said, accurately, Stipe is "only" 35. GSP is only 36 now. Do you really think Stipe can develop a better resume than GSP in the years he has left?

And Silva hurt him with a body kick at the end of their fight. Miocic won't be throwing any hard body kicks though.
