That 3rd fight buried him, taking such a vicious beating only to get KO'd at the end.

 

Stipe's on one of the most impressive runs in recent memory. He seems like a decent guy.

 

Masvidal vs Maia. I feel it was a bad decision. Why do Maia's sub attempts count more than Masvidal's sub defense? which in my opinion was much more impressive, considering Maia's Juijitsu pedigree. Maia landed hardly any significant strikes, and basically did a Juijitsu version of lay and pray, attempting subs, that were getting nullified by Masvidal. He clung to Masvidal's back for most of a round doing damn near nothing. That was the only round I gave to him, and that's because Masvidal didn't have enough time left in the round to land much clean once he dumped him off. The other two rounds, Masvidal kicked him for a half a round, and then was taken down, where Maia's sub attempts were nullified. Bad decision in my opinion.
