Maia barely scrapped that.. I had it 29-28 Maia.

Maia is one of those guys who's never won a title and it's a shame... Because the guys an amazing fighter, just goes to show that timing means a lot in some cases.

2nd was the most iffy to score. I had it 30-27 Maia, but the 2nd could have easily gone to him. Either 29-28 or 30-27 Maia is fine. But I don't see how it can be scored in Madvidals favor tbh.

I'm not a fan of WMMA at ALL. but these girls have both won my respect, and I think this is going to be a good fight.

Nah, it was close but Maia got that. Poirer vs Alvarez and Maia vs Masvidal II on the same card would be good.

I think there's good reason for a Poirier/Alvarez rematch, but it's all but confirmed that Maia will be fighting Woodley next... And why not? He arguably deserved the shot over Woodley against Lawler - would be criminal if he didn't get the shot at this point.

A good fight for the purists. To sum it up.

Oh he's lined up for Woodley? Woodley isn't even that good to be honest, I can see Woodley getting Maia to the ground and get caught in a submission... that's a very winnable fight for maia.

Andrade's volume and tenacity for a broad REALLY impresses me... She's essentially the female John Lineker... Jedrzejczyk is going to have her hands full tonight... No question.

I think Woodley makes it a boxing match and knocks Maia out... But yeah, you can never count out Maia with his insane BJJ skill.
