Great to see him get the belt back.

DC eye-poked his way to victory in the first encounter, good to see him get stopped last night. But...

Stipe's resume is deep. Surely the best resume at HW ever, right?

He almost got knocked out by the ghost of Overeem, but other than that, yeah, in the UFC

The way Stipe finished DC was incredibly satisfying to watch considering how their first fight ended. Those left hooks to the body would of made Joe Frazier proud, and to come up and land those booming rights and furiously pound him out was a sensational way to close the show.

The minimal coverage Stipe's win over Cormier has received relative to the undercard matches is disturbing.

Agreed, I don’t understand the attention that Nate Diaz gets. He really lucked out when Conor agreed to fight him @170. At 155 Conor would have starched him.

The way he slotted them left hooks in you knew the end was near, they were meaty and crippling, he wanted to stop him more than any other fighter hes faced. Hes a class act Stipe, the best resume at Heavy in the UFC ever

    I don't think 155 was Nate's ideal weight

Stipe's is good, but it isn't Nogueira's. Nogueira also loss to a guy with an impressive list of wins.

The amount of hate and lack of respect Stipe receives from the UFC and sports media alike is pretty sickening. So it isn't surprising.

There paths were always likely to cross and there is nothing lucky about anything Nate has done,he worked is arse off fighting against nothing but quality opposition in 2 divisions, nobody after watching there first 2 fights thinks Conor would have starched Nate at 155 or any weight,he is lucky he even got the decision in the 2nd fight.
The attention Nate and Nick both gets is because of a lot of things that include how they fight and there unique authentic fighters personality in and out of the ring.
They are also anti establishment and know there own worth and unlike most of the fighters are willing to sit out until they get what they deserve and only want real fights, not these boring lay and pray point fighters that nobody wants to watch.
It's funny seeing so many fighters try to imitate them but the Diaz brothers will always be remembered as the real OGs

You saw the skill difference in the first 2 rounds of their 2nd fight, Conor was landing bombs at will on Diaz. Only thing that kept Nate in the fight was the extra weight he was able to put on @170.

Mcgregor is an outstanding striker and that left hand is 1 of the best in the game, not a lot of fighters are willing to stand and strike with him like Nate did or have the ability to take that kind of damage he did in those 1st 2 rounds and be able to come on strong late including winning the 3rd round in even more dominant fashion, all of which had nothing to with the division the fight was fought at.
As everybody knows in the 1st fight Nate took fight on a weeks notice and kicked Conors arse and the only reason the fight was at the weight was because of the late notice,Nate took both fights with no hesitation and didn't care about what the weight,he certainly wasn't demanding it be fought at 170 as it was Conor demanding for rematch to be fought at the same weight so there wouldn't be excuses like your trying to make here

What makes you think UFC hates him?

He's regularly paraded as the goat HW, he's been given two title shots, a chance to avenge a loss to JDS and had Struve won he'd have been given a chance to avenge that as well.
