Lately I've been getting mad stitches at the end of my runs, deoes anyone have any theories as to how to prevent them or how they pop up? I try to stay well hydrated before a run so it's not that. Only thing differant in my lifestyle other than new regimes is drinking green tea, I'm not sure that would hurt though. atsch
Learn to breath properly when running. A stitch is normally CO2 build up. Stay hydrated whilst you run and green tea wont harm as its a very good antioxidant.
I always need a **** through my runs its bad because I start to fart with every stride and scared of following through......
haha yo man maybe those farts will give u some extra speed let em rip mate i get a sharp pain in my right side just below my ribs,.. real sharp pain not the same as a stitch, only when i step it up and really push myself damn hard though, if im just working out at reasonably intensity i wont get it. and it doesnt always occur either.. weird huh? also i alwaysneed 2 fart when i run too.. i just let em go man. cause i cant hold them in for long anyway.
lol. ...anyway I used to sometimes get certain pains whilst running. I gotta say though---try getting the thing your experiencing checked out. Its probably nothing but when your experiences things like that Id get it checked out.
I made it 14 strides once, no lie. I counted. And thx scurla for serious reply, so stitches are co2 build up you rekon? Definitely have to keep that in mind.
