"It was a fine performance by Vitali yet he fought a man in [Tomasz] Adamek who was certainly willing with his heart but the physics just didn't match. I read somewhere quoting Vitali, where he stated he would fight David Haye and would be willing to go to Britain and knock him out. In David is a man who is not a true heavyweight. Although from a business point of view it might be quite marketable in England, who really wants to see this fight? Pinky toe or not."
"Our fighter Bermane Stiverne is massive with heavyweight punching power. Although he is not 6'7 he is built like a tank and if Vitali is to bounce around with his hands down, Bermane will simply put him to sleep. Bermane is the mandatory challenger and we are revving to put it on. It is time for the Klitschko brothers to face a real heavyweight and stop picking on the light heavys and cruisers."

    from the scene.

This dude is wack. I hope they put him in with Vlad or Vitali just so we won't have to see or hear about him anymore after he gets whupped.

Stiverne is a big heavily built fight, and his KO power does seem to be somewhat reliable, but I don't think he's no where near good enough to be a test for Vitlai.

i like stiverne, i thought he looked tremendous against kertson manswell on the bradley-alexander undercard.
last time out against ray austin, not so good, but he's probably benefited from going a good few rounds.
i think he could be the future of the heavyweight division, but only after the klitschko brothers hang up the gloves and call it a day.

Kerston Manswell is a shockingly bad fighter. I'd be very worried for Stiverne if he had looked any less than 'tremendous' against him.

Stiverne isn't the future of the heavyweight division either, he was getting schooled by Ray Austin before he landed a big shot, and if he thinks that will suffice against the many better heavyweights than Austin, then Stiverne is in for a reality check. 'Average' Eddie Chambers would make this guy look foolish.

The only person who can put Vitali to sleep is his brother - by watching his fights.

Took him forever to finish a shot Ray Austin. I give Fury a better chance.

I don't have Stiverne in my top 10. Or likely not top 20. If Arreola, Peter, Solis, Thompson, Chambers, Adamek, Haye, Gomez, Mercer, Sanders, Johnson, Chageav, Rahman, Ibragimov, Byrd ect fell short he will too! I pick everyone on that list at the time the Klits fought them widely over Stiverne.

I think Richard Towers would have a much better shot at dethroning either one of the Klitschkos

Stiverne and his manager should be very careful about what they wish for:bbb
