What's with all these morons claiming Bermane Stiverne is just "a limited, face-first brawler with power, with little or no boxing skills"??? :-(
Sit down and watch a few of his fights (i.e. not just vs Ray Austin... when he was hurt and didn't look great)

If you can't tell the difference between Stiverne and Sam Peter then you really don't know **** about what you're watching.

I'm not claiming he can beat Vitali (bad style match-up for him)
But, for a heavyweight in today's era, the man has plenty of technique to go along with his power...
If you can't see that, then you too are a moron. :deal

He's got a good fast, stiff jab and a uses it to set up other punches, although I'm not sure he'll be able to get much through Vitali's defense. He has deceptively quick hands too, for such a chubby fellow.

He is definitely in the top 10 of best fighters in the division (possibly top 5), but he WON'T beat Vitali Klitschko.

what I like in Stiverne is feinting his jab and following with the left hook, it gave Arreola hell for 12 rounds

He's an amateur champ, of course he has some skills.
He's one of those guys that gets lazy because he knows
he can blast some guys out of there. He's probably even
level with most of the top 10(not ready for Wlad or Haye
yet) but he's definitely competitive with likely everyone

I've only seen Stiverne fight once against Arreola and I was pretty impressed with his speed, athleticism and ability for such a big guy. We'll see what the future holds...think he has a chance at beating any heavyweight out there not name Klitchko

Arreola and Austin fights were night and day. He was aggressive against
arreola. He laid back and allowed Austin to box him believing he would
get the knockout (ultimately he did). He said he credited Bob Papa
criticizing him about the Austin fight with how he fought against Arreola.

He was a limited and lazy fighter...

until out of nowhere he showed some skills against Arreola that we haven't seen from HW's in a few years.

    vitali would embaress stiverne

stiverne looked ok against areola. his arms look so short(like t rex short) he wouldn't come close to landing on vitali.

    vitali's gonna retire anyway

    so no worries

Well with Vitali out for the rest of the year Stiverne will get another chance to show his skill. I think he is a good fighter.
