Has there been any word from Oleg Platov recently? Another up and coming Don King fighter that has been ruined with inactivity. He wasn't that far of a title shot about 4 years ago now he's nowhere. Sam Peter as far as I know never mentioned anything about retirement either so I wouldn't be surprised if he's not winding down his contract to avoid King getting a share of his purse.

its DK that makes the talks stall. We have dealt with him before and its always issue after issue and if keeps a contract from being made, its on him not Vitali and the WBC know this

Even Stiverne knows this and is trying to break away from DK

To bad Wlad will get **** if he faces Boystov next, by Dino or Derrick. Where will their "Mandatory" outcry be then.

Sure Stiverne has waited a long time for this fight, and with his mandatory status I do feel bad for his inactivity, and if he does get passed over, which I highly doubt. The same as I felt for Chisora when he was scheduled to face Wlad, before he went bat **** crazy afterwards. But do these people really think he posses a great threat to Vitali?? All he has done was beat Austin by 10TKO, and Decision Arreloa. Arreloa, a guy Vitali already smashed, and another Arreola past conqueror Adamek, Vitali played with and battered from post to post.
